Enjoy the extra-wide 6-7/16" planks of Cascades Reserve in random lengths, many up to 6' long, to add to the visual grandeur. The planks have a rustic antiqued satin appearance created by a multi-step hand staining process, and the rustic look is enhanced by hand-scraped cross marks, known as "chatter marks," located at random. Blackened, hand beveled side edges enhance rustic appeal, minimize subfloor imperfections, and add visual interest. The effect is that of reclaimed flooring from an old mill or Spanish mission. Engineered plank floors 5/8" thick may be floated, glued, nailed down or stapled down above, on or below ground level over an OSB board, plywood or concrete subfloor. Once installed, the single board surface width gives the appearance of a solid wood floor.
