Manor will display wood characteristics such as small knots, checks, worm holes, sticker stain and mineral streaks. None of these chracteristics will be excessive in the floor. This grade will also have some color variation throughout the floor. The Natural Manor will have minimal mineral streaks and color vairation. Average lengths will be approximately 2-1/2 feet or longer. This product comes with a 25 year finish warranty.
All products can be wire brushed for an "antiqued" appearance.
Finish
All of the Homestead Collection has a stain or sealer coat applied first. A reverse fill application is then applied in order to fill any open grain. Two seal coats and three top coats are applied to finish the process. The total finish applied is 2.5 to 2.8 mils in comparison to the 1.8 to 2.0 that most manufacturers use.
Micro Bevel with Square Ends
The bevel on 2-1/4" and 3-1/4" starts at .04" and is approximately .02" after finishing.
The bevel on 4" and 5" starts at .07" and is approximately .05" after finishing.
Sheen
The sheen on all of the Homestead Collection is approximately a 50 gloss level. This gloss level is reduced on Plantation Plank and our wire brushed products.
