BR111 flooring carries the highest quality exotic hardwood flooring on the market today. For the last 15+ years BR111 has been the leader in the exotic flooring marketplace offering several species, thicknesses, widths, and finishes. Below you'll find a review of the entire product line that will help you in making the decision of which BR111 flooring product to buy.
More than 25 exotic hardwood flooring species are represented in seven different BR-111™ product categories. The company's flagship line, Indusparquet®, is available in 3/4", 7/16" and 5/16" prefinished solids. BR-111™ recently added the Antiquity® Hand-Scraped Collection to its 3/4" solid products and a 1/2" Antiquity hand scraped engineered collection.
BR111 engineered vs. solid is the first question you should ask yourself. If you are on a concrete slab you will have to go with one of their engineered products or you can go with the 5/16" or 7/16" solid line (both of which can be glued down). If you are on a wooden or plywood subfloor than you can opt for either the solid or engineered product lines. Another determining factor to consider is the moisture of your home and geographical area. If you are in an area with high fluctuating humidity it may be in your best interest to go with an engineered product.
Let's discuss BR111 brazilian cherry in more detail. Brazilian Cherry is offered in almost every product line that BR111 carries, so making a decision on width, style, or finish shouldn't be a problem. In engineered flooring, BR111 carries brazilian cherry in the 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2" thicknesses. The 5/16" is by far the most economical choice, but it only offers a 0.6 mm wear layer. Wear layer is important if you plan on sanding and refinishing years down the road. The 5/16" thickness comes in two widths: BR111 Engineered Brazilian Cherry 3" and BR111 Engineered Brazilian Cherry 6-1/4". If you're looking for a thicker engineered floor with a really thick wear layer then turn to the BR111 Brazilian Cherry 3-1/4" which is 3/8" thick with a 3.6 mm wear layer, or the BR111 Brazilian Cherry 5" which is 1/2" thick with a 3 mm wear layer. Both of these products can be sanded and refinished when the finish wears down. That about covers the engineered products, but they also offer brazilian cherry in solid at multiple widths and thicknesses. The best selling solid product is the 3/4" solid which comes in four widths 3", 4", 5-1/2", and 7-3/4". All four widths can be viewed on the BR111 Indusparquet 3/4" Solid page. If you're looking for a solid brazilian cherry but you need to glue down then take a look at the 5/16" Solid Brazilian Cherry or 7/16" Solid Brazilian Cherry products offered.
BR111 amendoim is also known as brazilian oak. People refer to it as brazilian oak because the coloring is close to natural oak and amendoim contains knots similar to oak flooring. Amendoim is rates 1912 on the Janka scale so it's a pretty hard wood when comparing to domestic species. Most customers purchase br-111 amendoim for the light color of the flooring in relationship to it's hardness. Amendoim can be found in all of the same collections as BR111 Brazilian Cherry. The only width that this product doesn't come in is the 7-3/4" X 3/4" solid so check out the BR111 Amendoim products available.
Everyone loves the look of BR111 Tigerwood, but tigerwood flooring is not for everybody. The reason is it can have a high color variation and contains "tiger stripes" that not every person likes. Tigerwood is a photosensitive species and will be lighter out of the box than months after installation. But if tiger stripes are what you're after then BR-111 Tigerwood is the highest quality product on the market. Tigerwood is available in several collections coming in different constructions, widths and thicknesses. When it comes to tigerwood BR 111 has a product that will fit your applacation. Visit the BR111 Tigerwood page for all of the products we carry.
